This is where I plan to share my creativity. Whether it’s digital art, paintings, drawings, or my yarn crafts, you will get to see it all and possibly even some of the progress leading to it right here. Lucky you!
As a young girl I had a love of art. When I was 11 my father told me I could open an art stand and sell my work, as opposed to the lemonade stands kids usually had. At 15 I sold my first painting at an art show. I sold my first mural at 16 and continued working on portraits, fantasy art and murals.
My paternal grandmother started teaching me crochet when I was about 7. Our first project together was a stuffy of a unicorn. I still have the miniature version of it she made for me in crochet thread.
When I had my second child I started learning how to knit through books, magazines and YouTube videos.
In 2011 my husband and I had our third child and moved to another state in hopes of being able to better support our family. To our surprise, my husband was able to make enough money for me to become a stay at home mom, but it wouldn’t be enough for me. My grandmother suggested selling my yarn crafts or art work. With the love of my grandmother in mind, the support of my parents, and in hopes of supporting my own children with a little luck, I started Clovers 4 Ewe.
I’ve decided to combine all of my loves into one shop so I not only offer crochet and knit items, but also portraits, caricatures, and other such artworks. In the future I hope to also include things such as fantasy greeting cards and ACEOs (artist card editions and originals).
