A sketch of a father and son along with the reference print used.
The weather here has been pretty bad so my mother and I have been trying to find ways to entertain the kids. Games and toys bought from the store as well as from a yard sale, and even a couple of dance video games. They are so full of energy it’s hard to get it out creatively indoors without getting them in trouble.
I’ve tried to get some work done too. I’ve doodled, drawn, knit and crocheted. My newest project started last night of this father and son, which is what I shall call it. Father & Son. I may try to share more stuff later, but for now, this is a project for which I can share progress.
I realize I never really showed you the finished product of “V” so I wanted to give you an extra special treat. Here is V with Violet. She’s wearing most of the same outfit I drew her in for the big reveal. 🙂 I think Violet’s mom was having her pose a bit to get a comparison. This was sent to Yvette of As U Wish Embroidery & Crafts, which is why you see her logo on it. Thanks for stopping by!
I have a lot of projects going at once right now and sadly, haven’t put much time into the “comic” other than watching and listening to more how to videos while I work.
I do, however, have two projects going right now that I wanted to share a bit of with you. I thought I’d try and share some progress pictures of my practicing with color. I like watching others work so I thought, why not? Also, the stitch work of a knit pattern I’m working on is just lovely and I wanted to share it with you too. I cannot share the full project or the pattern itself though because it’s for a secret gift exchange.
Not cables, but even better because I don’t have a cable needle. lol
First of many in my series of progress pics.
